Teacher Appreciation PoemFebruary 20th, 2011 | Posted by in Gifts Ideas | Teacher Appreciation Gifts | Thank You Gifts
Teacher poems are an excellent way of voicing your thanks and appreciation to a special teacher who has helped you through the past few months at school during the Teacher Appreciation Week . It is always better to write your own teacher appreciation poem.
Don’t worry if it doesn’t sound so “literary” as other poems you’ve heard. It has a higher value: it’s yours! But, if you need some inspiration, have a look at the poems below.
Teacher always lend a helping hand and help show us the way, teachers have made a difference, teachers have shaped our minds, teachers have changed the world, that’s why God made teachers.
By Kevin William Huff
When God created teachers,
He gave us special friends
To help us understand His world
And truly comprehend
The beauty and the wonder
Of everything we see,
And become a better person
With each discovery.
When God created teachers,
He gave us special guides
To show us ways in which to grow
So we can all decide
How to live and how to do
What’s right instead of wrong,
To lead us so that we can lead
And learn how to be strong.
Why God created teachers,
In His wisdom and His grace,
Was to help us learn to make our world
A better, wiser place.
The child arrives like a mystery box with puzzle pieces inside some of the pieces are broken or missing and others just seem to hide. But the heart of a teacher can sort them out and help the child to see the potential for greatness he has within a picture of what he can be. For little child, a teacher is like magician, for a while, she/he is like Spring, like Summer, or like Fall, like Winter…
A Teacher for All Seasons
A teacher is like Spring,
Who nurtures new green sprouts,
Encourages and leads them,
Whenever they have doubts.
A teacher is like Summer,
Whose sunny temperament
Makes studying a pleasure,
A teacher is like Fall,
With methods crisp and clear,
Lessons of bright colors
And a happy atmosphere.
A teacher is like Winter,
While it’s snowing hard outside,
Keeping students comfortable,
As a warm and helpful guide.
Teacher, you do all these things,
With a pleasant attitude;
You’re a teacher for all seasons,
And you have my gratitude!
I like this poem while I seen it at first time at my friend’s house, she is good preschool teacher and received the personalized teacher appreciation plaque with engraving “Teacher Appreciation” on her third Teacher Appreciation Day. She told me with sunshine smile that she was overwhelmed by the stunning beauty of the crystal as well as moved by the sincere “Teacher Appreciation” on the plaque.
This is a big and sparkling “Thank You” and round of applause for a job well done, the crystal book makes a unique thank you teacher gift. The ample personalization space gives plenty of room for the “Teacher Appreciation” poem.
With a special gift for learning
And with a heart that deeply cares,
You add a lot of love
To everything you share,
And even though you mean a lot,
You’ll never know how much,
For you helped to change the world
Through every life you touched.
You sparked the creativity
In the students whom you taught,
And helped them strive for goals
That could not be bought,
You are such a special teacher
That no words can truly tell
However much you’re valued
For the work you do so well.
Thank you so much for being
So very nice, kind and good;
I like you so much, (Miss Giles)
I’d stay here if I could
I always loved your class;
Your teaching helped me see,
That to have a full and happy life,
Learning is the key.
What’s role of teacher? What’s the role of teacher? Teachers are carriers of either positive or negative behavior toward students. Teacher impact our lives. Their words can stay with us for years. They teach with passion, helping shape the live of their students, right?
T is for talented that you surely are
E is for explaining so patiently
A is for the ability to make the class fun
C is for correcting us when we were wrong
H is for helping us in every way
E is for encouraging us to do our best
R is for rare, there is only one of you!
So thank you special teacher; we think you’re great too!
If I could teach you, teacher,
I’d teach you how much more
you have accomplished
than you think you have.
Please teach me everything I’ll need,
Teach me to calculate and speak,
Teach me to stop being so weak:
Teach me to think and write and read.
Over the green and yellow rice-fields sweep the shadows of the autumn clouds followed by the swift-chasing sun
The bees forget to sip their honey;
Drunk with light they foolishly hover and hum
The ducks in the islands of the river clamour in joy for mere nothing
I was walking by the road
I do not know why
When the noonday was past and bamboo branches rustled in the wind
They told me
This is time to show my appreciation to you, my teacher
The prone shadows with their out retched arms clung to the feet of the hurrying light
The koels were weary of their songs
Thank you, teacher,
For being my life’s role model.
When I consider all you’ve taught me
And reflect on the kind of person you are,
I want to be like you—
Smart, interesting and engaging,
Positive, confident, yet unpretentious.
I want to be like you—
